Purchased this for help with drawing male figures. Wonderful helpful book with clear and simple directions and great artwork. Lots of helpful advice and images and I really appreciate that for once the formatting of this kindle book is page scans (and not formatted 'for kindle' as some art titles are) which makes the book MUCH easier to follow and appreciate as a reference book! Would like to see more kindle reference and especially art reference books formatted like this. Thank you, great book! :)
It's a pretty straightforward how to book but I have seen better anatomy references of different body types, skinny and big... Now, now. I simply ADORE yaoi so don't get it twisted. But I love the reference of the clothes, but I am trying to make my style not too Anime-ish. And I must admit... Once you go Anime it's tough going back, but i digress. It is a good book if you are planning on going for the manga business.
It helped to draw male anime/manga characters.
Loved it so much great tips, wonderful art, it was fantastic and I need a few more words otherwise I can submit this review. But super helpful book. 10/10
It's not exactly proportions or anything but it does give you decent story advice and character design advice so if that's what you're looking for this'll be a huge help.
I love the how to draw books. They are so exciting and fun and I just love flipping through them. This one was no different.
Great reference material for drawing boys, suits and faces.
I had NO idea how to draw Yaoi. I've had some VERY horrible attempts. Everyone looks like an like and that is not good. Through this book I've learned to draw each character correctly and perfectly.
